I was walking my dog, saw a strange light in the sky, went back inside the house, went to bed.   Thu, 02 Sep 2010 06:43:17 GMT
I took my dog out at about 4:30 am, and saw a strange light in the sky, I thought it might just be a star, though it looked something like a cigar or cylinder shape? Anyway, I was tried, so I went back to bed, just laid down, that's when I saw a flash of green light, and a voice that spoke in some strange language that I never heard before? I couldn't move, I felt my dog up against me, but she never moved or barked? I tried very hard to move my arms and feet, but it was like having sleep paralysis, but I knew I was wide awake!? I definitely felt, and caught climpses of the presence of small shadowy figures in the bedroom? I knew I was trying to push them away from my face? I didn't feel as though I was in my bedroom anymore? The next thing I knew it was 6:04 when I woke up? I knew what happened wasn't a dream, because a little over an hour and 1/2 had passed since I saw the light in the sky, and I had just laid back down in my bed, and then it was 6:04? This is the 7th time in my life that something like this has happened to me that I know of, there may be other times that I don't remember? It felt so very real, and the strange thing was, I didn't feel afraid? I don't know what the green light said to me in the strange language, though I think now I may have heard it before, hut I wasn't afraid of it somehow? It all felt so familiar, yet I can't remember what exactly just happened to me? i feel as though I have went through this many many times before? Dirk Hartman.

Light moving in an easterly direction vanished.   Thu, 02 Sep 2010 01:08:22 GMT
My teen-aged son, his friend, and I were star gazing when we noticed a high number of moving lights in the sky that were obviously airplanes. Southern Oregon is not noted for many airplanes at night. In fact seeing 1 is uncommon, 2 is very rare. On this night we counted 5 roughly at the same time. 3 moving south, 2 of which at a high rate of speed, and 2 moving in an easterly direction. The 3 moving south and 1 of the easterly lights were obviously airplanes due to the straight line flight and the blinking lights. One of the easterly lights was farther away but obviously larger and brighter than all of the other lights. As we were watching it, we took our eyes off of it for 2 - 3 seconds to see where the other aircraft had went. When we looked back, it was gone. The sky was clear and devoid of any clouds. Temp was approx. 70 degrees.

Bright yellow light with 7 points flashing red/blue/amber/green and moving erratically   Thu, 02 Sep 2010 00:38:56 GMT
1. my mother had called me at about 9:45 pm on august the 28th and told me there was a strange light outside that was making very strange movements and flashing weird coloured lights. she lives in bakersfield and i live in kernville (which is about 40 some odd miles to the west of bakersfield i believe) and she asked me to go outside and see if i could see it. after telling me where to look and after describing what i was seeing (flashing red/green/blue/amber lights and erratic side to side/circular/up and down movements/hovering) we realized we were both seeing the same object. she had also seen it the object (as did i) on the 29th, 30th and today (the 2nd of sep) with similar things happening. 2. see above 3. i did not believe it was an aircraft/star/ planet/ or any other type of man made object as it was way too bright to be any kind of aircraft and planets and stars just dont move like that, i believe it is a ufo 4. as stated above it is EXTREMELY bright, brighter than any stars in the sky (in bakersfield the sky is so smoggy its pretty much impossible to see any stars or anything in the sky) and it was moving in circular/side to side/up and down motions and seemed to be hovering. 5. no strange feelings etc 6. i had gone to bed around 11-11:30 that night but my mother had said it had just vanished around 11:45-midnight. we had not noticed it vanishing on any of the other days as we had gone to bed before it vanished. she had said that it just kinda disappeared from sight... like it was there one second and gone another.

5 lights connected   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 23:56:56 GMT
This may not be a saucer siting as per say, but it is a unusual siting for me. I was walking home from a neighbors house when I saw a string of lights in the sky. There were five lights that I could see. They moved like they were on a string and independent of each other, I have never seen anything like this. They were very bright, a bit brighter than the stars that were out this night. When I got home, I asked my son if he wanted to see a UFO. After checking it out for a minute or two, he called another neighbor of mine, an they came outside to see this strange event. We watched them for awhile, than they started to fade out, kind of like they were getting higher in the atmosphere, then we lost site of them. I saw them for about half an hour or so. This occurred at about 10 pm on 9/1/10, Appleton, WI. Sorry no photos or vids.

Fast moving object changed direction several times   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 15:05:38 GMT
Phone interview taken by Margie Kay in the words of the witness: I was walking from my car to a restaurant when something in the sky caught my eye. It was moving very slowly just below the clouds and sometimes would go into the clouds, then come out again in and up and down and straight pattern, then it moved backward slightly and I realized it was not a plane. I saw no wings or tail, but it looked like a cigar shaped silver thing. Very large, like the size of two or three 747's. All of a sudden, after it moved backwards, it shot forward very very fast, then 90 degrees to the right, and 90 degrees forward again and dissapeared. I'd say it was going many times faster than a jet fighter. I've never seen anything like it. Other people must have seen it, too. Now I'm a believer in UFOs.

Multiple sightings of large balls of light since 2006 in Missouri and other states   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 14:50:31 GMT
The witness called me to discuss sightings he has been having since 2006 until now all over the state. He has seen multiple numbers of large lighted orbs, the smallest one being 15 feet in diameter, up to 25 or 30 feet in diameter. The first sighting involved a very close encounter with the light, and since then he sees lights following him in his vehicle whereever he travels in Missouri an nearby states. He is a boiler engineer for power plants and does a lot of travel. The balls of light simply appear and dissapear, and do not move away. They start out as a blue color, then change to red, then yellow.

(3) objects. first solid orange, second solid red, third solid white.   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 14:12:18 GMT
I was on a business trip in Michigans upper peninsula, in an area known as the Keewaknaw Peninsula. This is the northermost portion of the upper peninsula, and is sparsely populated. My 16 y/o son was with me. We were driving back from Agate Beach on a remote back road, approx. 20 miles from the only main highway in that region, Hwy 41. It was 8:07 pm, EST. The orange light first appeared at this time. It was off to our right side, over the lake. We were ascending in elevation from the lake and had a beautiful view of an expanse of lake superior. The light was out over the lake. It seemed to large to be aircraft lights, and was moving in a slow, irregular pattern. The light seemed to be a long distance away, and getting a perspective of its size in relation to distance away was difficult, for its size and intensity of light was changing so rapidly. my son and I became somewhat nervous, becuase we were literally in the middle of nowhere. The nearest house with occupants was maybe 6 miles away. by the time we arrived at Hwy 41, the orange light moved inland and was to our south, still visible the entire time, now seeming to stay in one spot. About 12 miles soth on Hwy 41, there was a large valley with steep hills on both sides, which is about 4 mies across. When we got to the top of the other side of that valley, the orange light had disapeared. Jupiter was now visible, low in the Eastern sky. About 10 minutes later, the orange light appeared to our east. It was very large now, and the color was very intense. Both the light and jupiter were visible. The light began to move close to the horizon, and seemed to be following the terrain. Both my son and I were becoming really "weirded out". The light stayed in the eastern sky another 40 minutes, then suddenly dissapeared. It seemed it had just "gone out", it had not moved. 5 minutes or so later we arrived in the small town of Bruce Crossing, which consisted of a bar and a small truck stop. We stopped here to use the bathroom, and asking the person at the counter if anyone had seen anything, a trucker mentioned that, as traveling west on Hwy 28, he had seen "a large orange ball to the east". As we got to our van, I looked East and saw nothing. we then turned onto Hwy 28, Westbound. about 5 minutes later my son yelled out "look behind us, there it is!" As I looked the East over my shoulder, I noticed an intense, small red light, just above the trees, just to our south, and the orange light was in the East, higher in the sky than previously. I pulled to the side of the road to text my wife (we now had signal for the first time since Houghton) and tell her what was happening. It was 11pm EST. When the van came to a stop, the red light was gone. when i finished my text and began driving, the red light "came on". My window was down, so it wasnt a reflection. A minute or so later my son yelled "what the hell is that!?", and was watching a small, intense white light moving crazily through the trees, to our right. This white light zipped over, and around our van, while the red light to our left stayed motionless. The red light seemed very close, and the white light seemed to be the size of a softball. As the white light moved into the trees, it lit up a small area dimly wherever it went. I began to think I should turn around and get back to Bruce Crossing, as the next town was 12 miles away on Hwy 28. I texted my wife " I am afraid" at 11:10 EST, which she received at 11:13, CST, she texted back at 11:15(time on my phone), asking if we were ok, and she recieved my response of "I'm really scared" at 11:18. But upon looking at what time I sent that text, my phone showed 11:40. we arrived in the next town, Bergland, where we were staying at a friends motel for the night, at 11:51. The lights were gone, and seem to have been gone for maybe 10 minutes, or so. I cannot explain the extra time it took to travel between the 2 towns, nor can either my son or I remember exactly how the lights disapeared. The next morning as we left, heading back to Minneapolis, I began to get the feeling I had been "read" by the red light. I cannot explain it any other way. My sons memory of the incident and mine match up until the last part with the red and white lights. looking back and remembering, my son nor I felt terror, as much as just scared, and in awe of the whole situation.

A small star or satellite   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 10:39:36 GMT
My name is *(Wit's name deleted--SGonzalez/CMS). I was camping last weekend with my wife, daughter, and a family that we know well. We were out a bit west of Lake George. While we were hanging around the campfire, I took to looking at the sky. I love looking at stars and like to see if I can see satellites and other phenomena. I also have trained my eyes to cue in on movement due to many years hunting experience. So, I was looking up at the sky while we were all talking and I saw a very small star apparently move. However, it was not an airplane, (I saw several while we were there) and it was not a satellite, as I have seen many of those as well. This star was moving back and forth, up and down, diagonally, slow and fast. The funny thing was it stayed in a fairly well defined area. As I looked up, the area of movement would be similar to holding up a tennis ball at arm's length. Within this area, this star moved erratically, and was not predictable. For a while no one else could see what I was pointing out, but my wife and the mother of the other family finally saw what I was seeing. They also said they could see this star move back and forth, up and down, fast and slow, etc. I was open to the possibility that it was an optical illusion, but that was the only star moving in such a way in the entire sky. I was also open to the possibility of it being the clouds moving but the clouds moved on and the star stayed in the same relative position for almost two hours. All the other stars slowly orbited, but this stayed in the same area. I don't know if anyone else has seen such a thing, or if anyone else reported seeing something unusual on Saturday, August 21st, 2010. I just wanted to know if you have heard of anything like this. I pride myself in being observant, and an amateur astronomer. I am very interested in space and astronomy, and love to look at stars. Also know that I was a data analyst, and am able to observe things. I would be interested in your opinion. Thank you very much,

Red lights over Clovis, CA.   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 04:58:55 GMT
We saw some type of UFO tonight that had bright red lights on it-- date: Aug.31,2010, over Clovis,CA at 11:10PM. It seemed to be more than two air- craft flying in tight formation. It appeared in the western sky and traveled silently and swiftly going South. We could not see the shape of the aircraft as it was too far away. It seemed to decend slightly, while going southward, and disappeared behind trees and rooftops until we could no longer see it. The red lights on this were vivid, like the red of a stop light. The lights seemed to flutter back and forth in an almost strobe light effect. The aircraft was silent, and although traveling very fast, we heard no jet engins. These were not helicopters as they were completely silent, nor was it a commercial plane with steady beacon lights. We don't know what kind of aircraft it was-- some new, silent military plane they are taking out on manuvers maybe? This was a lot like the first sighting we had a few days ago of a similar aircraft with red lights on it.

Large bright orange orb spotted in western San Diego sky.   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 02:49:39 GMT
I was driving back home from the Naval base on 32nd street along Harbor Drive towards downtown and I noticed a very bright orange-ish orb in the western sky. At first, I thought it was one of the airplanes making a landing at the airport, but it ended up just sitting there in the same spot of the sky for the majority of the drive. It wasn't until I made it home that it began to move which was a solid 30 minutes after I first spotted it. After it began to move it immediately got dimmer as it moved faster until it disappeared altogether. I know I described it as a "orange" orb, but that's mostly because orange was the primary color. The center of it was predominantly orange while the outside was constantly changing colors from blue to green to red, ect. It wasn't so much individual lights around the object that I could see as much as it was more of an "aura" around it. It shone very intensely as if it was molten, much too bright to be a Chinese Lantern. I was not able to get any pictures as I was driving and my phone camera is pretty terrible at night. I felt the need to report it after reading multiple reports of similar objects in the area recently.

Object appeared after a few moments of looking into the sky.   Wed, 01 Sep 2010 00:13:31 GMT
So you understand better this information. I have seen numerous 'objects'. I have filed two previous reports. One of which that caused some unwanted attention. (The red object staying in my line of sight) No matter how much effort I gave to move my seat into a position out of view. Without pointing my seat in the completely opposite direction in the sky... Since seeing these objects I was first afraid but have accepted(trying to) they have been there since before I became 'aware'. I have found myself asking to see them when I have had a bad or would just like some comfort. Either way they show up. Sometimes they will come very close and stop their "ship", possibly receiving my feelings. (If I become afraid they will move further away). Back to what happen. I was thinking it would be peaceful to see one right now. I look up (West ward in the sky) and One appeared. It was first far away but came closer... Occasionally when I see them or more so when I am asking to observe one, the lights in my vicinity will dim momentary... I have a question.. After I made two previous reports there have been helicopters after I have any close sightings.. There are now also extremely high flying aircraft that will fly in a grid around the perimeter of my house. With only a single flashing light, which makes them difficult to notice because they are at such a high altitude. Anyway, when those planes are there I am unable to make contact with them visually. 1. Backyard. Night 2.It began moving moved closer to the ground and stopped above me ( Not directly above me). Although that occurs. 3. I knew what it was. 4. Appeared in the western sky, moved easternly and came 'close'. 5. Peaceful, but alert. 6. It acceded back into the sky and went to its previous location of where I first noticed it.

Bright UFO emerging from the mountains in a lazy "S" shape trajectory over the city of Colorado Springs.   Tue, 31 Aug 2010 22:20:34 GMT
I was sitting on my front porch at approximately ten PM when I noticed a bright star-like object approaching from the SW banking to its left to take a due north trajectory over the west side of the city. moving at approximately the same velocity as a private airplane it remained in my line of sight for at least 30 seconds. the further north it flew the more it began banking to its right arcing until it assumed a due south flight where it flew almost directly over head. during its northerly flight it disappeared for approximately 10 seconds then reappeared as brightly as it did when I first observed it. This took place as it flew over the vicinity of the United States Air Force academy. as it flew south overhead it made no sound, did not have navigation lights and it had the appearance of the flashing of an arc welder that is to say that it varied in intensity at times brighter than any other celestial body including Jupiter. within 10 seconds of flying overhead, its brightness intensified for a few seconds then abruptly and completely disappeared. From what I have seen previously in the skies over Colorado Springs the object certainly was identical to previous objects that I have seen overhead. this is how I recognizes the object to be another UFO. this is the third time I have witnessed this type of sighting with this type of object but it left me with a sense of awe as much as the first time I saw one. one last note... the city has five major military installations in and around it including NORAD in Cheyenne Mountain... this object emerged from the mountains in the vicinity just north of the NORAD installation.

Bright star-like object seen executing high speed maneuvers in the skies over Columbia County, NY.   Tue, 31 Aug 2010 13:58:41 GMT
We live on the east side of a lake in northern Columbia County in New York State. From where we are located, we have an unobstructed view of the western sky. On the night of Saturday August 28, 2010, the skies were clear with temps in the low 70's. At about 9:25 that evening, I went outside to get something out of my truck. We had been cooking and canning vegetables from our garden all day, and the house was quite warm inside. Noticing how pleasantly cool it was outside, I asked my girlfriend if she might like to come outside for a while to cool off. As we stood down by the water, chatting and looking at the house lights from across the lake, something caught my eye in the west northwestern night sky. At an elevation of about fifty degrees, a bright white star-like object had suddenly appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. Had this object been stationary, and not as bright, I might have mistaken it for just a large star. But it was not stationary. It was moving in a northerly direction at what appeared to be a very high rate of speed. After about three or four seconds from the time it first appeared, it executed a very tight, almost flat, 180 degree turn to the south, and after proceeding in this new direction for another three or four seconds, it just as suddenly seemed to "turn off" again, just like someone turning off a light switch, and became invisible to our eyes once more in the night sky. Please understand that when I used the word "turn", I am not speaking of any kind of a turn in the conventional way. This object, whatever it was, had managed to accomplish a complete and opposite change of direction in less than a second. It's speed remained constant throughout the entire manuver, and it's motion can only be described as "fluid". As we stood there in silence for perhaps fifteen seconds or so, trying to comprehend what this actually was that we had just witnessed, another bright white "star" "turned on" in the west southwestern sky. I took this to be the same object that we had seen before, as the size and light intensity were the same, as was it's elevation above the horizon. This time however, the same manuver that we had just witnessed was being repeated in reverse, with the object making another of those "impossible" 180 degree turns, and heading back to the north again before "turning off" once more. We stood there for several more minutes watching the sky, but it did not reappear again.

Cloud cloaked UFO hovering over Downtown LA   Tue, 31 Aug 2010 02:39:52 GMT
I was driving north on the 110 Fwy when I noticed a huge circular disc-shaped cloud very low over downtown LA. The strange thing was, there was not a single other cloud in the sky...typical alien mistake if you ask me, they are as imperfect as us with just fancier aircraft... Anyway, I have read several articles and seen photos of other cloud cloaked UFO's, Hence, I knew what I was looking at immediately when I saw it. Although I was driving, I reached into the back seat, grabbed my digital camera and snapped these pictures through the front window of my jeep. I took 4 pics, but these 3 are the ones that came out in focus. Zoom in on these pics. The closer you look the more it looks like a disc! The cloud cloaked UFO did not move at all. It simply hovered in place. I drove up the highway and went on my way so it was only in my sight for a few seconds before I was past and I didn't want to turn and take more pics and risk crashing on the freeway...no "ignorant of human civilization" Greys are going to ruin my day. My feelings? I wasn't that surprised, it's my 5th sighting and I am used to being "in the ant farm" now. Just like my first sighting of a transparent cloaked triangle with cloud in it on a clear night, these aliens messed up again by disguising themselves as a cloud on a cloudless day...morons. Humans Rule The Galaxy

Very bright light of various colours.   Tue, 31 Aug 2010 00:27:20 GMT
I have severe sleep problems, so it's not strange for me to be up at silly times and just aimlessly wonder around or in most cases watch the sky. I peered out my window for a quick look to seee if it was raining, all is dry and the sky still incredibly clear, as I was about to shut my blinds again I spotted a very bright white light just in the tree line opposite my house, it's changing to a various display of colours - white to green to red etc. The house opposite me's garden light came on and the light dissapeared behind the trees, dimming whilst it did so. When it reappeared it started ascending skywards about 1 fingers length above the tree line, where it has now been stationary for the past 20 minutes, it's showing no signs of moving, but it has moved significantly from where I first spotted it. I've checked the stars and they're all in the same position as when I first looked out, I've tried capturing it both on film and still photo, but my phone is not good enough or just unable to pick it up. There's been a number of lights over this area in the past month... Very spectacular.

3 fire shaped lights.   Mon, 30 Aug 2010 22:53:14 GMT
My husband and I were outside smoking a cigarette in the backyard when he saw a strange red/orange glowing light. It was similar to the two lights I told him I had seen the week before, but no one believed me (around the same time almost a week before). The first one was coming towards us and then a plane flew parallel and the UFO shot up and away from us, turning into what looked like a satellite. After that experience, two more, flying very close to each other came toward us. The smaller of the two dimmed out before the larger and closer one moved to the left and dimmed out. It gave off a flash a couple of times before it too looked like a satellite. We watched it until we could no longer see it. We have a few photographs and a video but my husband was shaking so bad the pictures did not turn out so well. When I had seen two objects the week before (by myself) no one had believed me and told me they were flares. These objects were not flares. They had movement to them that are indescribable. I was starting to believe I imagined them until my husband and I saw them again! Finally, I knew I was not imagining them! My husband and I were both in the military (in air department) and my husband works for a government-contracting agency. These orbs were not anything we have seen before. The video does not do the siting justice. It looks so much smaller than how it was seen visually. It was the size of a man's pinky nail!

Rectangle shaped object with 8 circular lights across it with a gap between them moving across the sky.   Mon, 30 Aug 2010 22:34:52 GMT
While taking an evening walk, I looked up and saw a rectangle shaped object moving eastwast across the sky. It seem to have a squared edge with 4 circular lights then a gap the same width and then 4 more circular lights across the edge. I was thinking about all the things it couldbe...i.e. a spider web across my eye sight, a reflection from a plane, a plane, but they were quickily ruled out. I was keenly focusing on it as it was about to reach a tree line and before it reached the trees it seemed to evaporate.

Looking for the space station.   Mon, 30 Aug 2010 22:08:26 GMT
My family and I were standing outside of my house at around 8:30 looking for the space station that was supposed to be visible tonight. We couldn't see anything so everyone went inside after a little while except for me. All of a sudden I saw this star-like light in the sky shooting up from the horizon and went to grab everyone because I thought it was the space station. The light is flickering in a reddish-orange color, and every now and then there will be tiny white flashes of light that appear around it and then vanish. My dad came out and we stood there watching it move up higher into the sky, when we realized it was moving in a really odd pattern, and thinking it may not actually be the space station. The only way I can describe it is the way a fly moves when its buzzing around, going back and forth and all around. After watching it move like this for a good 15 minutes, we concluded that it couldn't be the space station since it was only supposed to be visible for 3-4 minutes. It kept moving until it was straight up in the middle of the sky, and then it just stopped. My dad went back inside and I stayed outside watching it, and it would move back and forth every now and then, but for the most part it stays in the same area. I grabbed one of my friends to get another witness to make sure it wasn't just my eyes playing tricks on me, and he was able to see it moving as well, confirming the same times and directions it was moving as I was seeing it. I came inside to write this and to charge my camera to try and capture a video of it. When I went back outside, it had moved a little to the north, but it's still in the same general area. For it to move that quickly when we first spotted it in a matter of seconds, only for it to remain in the same area for almost 2 hours now tells me that it's not a star or any known aircraft. I wasn't able to get a video of it since it is too high up in the sky, but hopefully others have witnessed the same thing as I have.
